My Approach

My values for diversity and multicultural therapy have been consistent across my training and career. I work collaboratively with my clients to identify their goals and utilize a strengths-based approach that is informed by multicultural and trauma informed frameworks. It is important in our work together to truly understand your experiences across various contexts, including individual, familial, community, societal and spiritual. I strive to create a safe supportive space by intentional focus on a trusting therapeutic relationship in which connection and belonging are central.

I describe my style of therapy as integrative, utilizing interpersonal, cognitive-behavioral, and emotion focused interventions to facilitate insight, change, and growth. Having compassion and empathy are core aspects of my work.
